I asked for Strength…..
and God gave me difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for Wisdom…..
And God gave me problems to solve.
I asked for Prosperity….
and God gave me a brain and energy to work.
I asked for Courage….
and God gave me danger to overcome.
I asked for Love….
and God gave me trouble people to help.
I asked for Favors….
and God gave me opportunities.
and God gave me opportunities.
I received nothing I wanted….
But I received everything I needed.
A friend of mine posted this on facebook so I thought I’d copy it and put it on here, just food for thought….
How often have we asked for something only to get what seems like the opposite of what we asked for? God doesn’t always give us what we want but he does give us everything we need. Instead of getting frustrated at God, pause and see what He is really doing…..
Psalm 23:1 ”The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need.”
